Aren’t the holidays magical? It’s a time for celebrating, giving gifts, holiday cheer, spreading love and laughter. But this year, there has been some dark magic. An evil sorcerer has cast a hex over the land and covered it with dark snow and ice.
Fortunately, there’s a counter spell to reverse the hex, but it’s locked it away in a dark, cold, ice palace. Luckily, the sorcerer left clues and puzzles that, if solved correctly, reveal the counter spell. Race against your coworkers – can your team break the hex first?
We recommend a computer or tablet because of the larger screen size. However, when a cell phone is the only option, the game can be played on a phone as well!
Not much! Just yourself, your brain, and a device that is connected to the internet. You might find it useful to have a cell phone handy as we do allow use of the internet during our games. If your event is over Teams, Google Meet, or Webex, we also recommend scratch paper.

We have a holiday version of this escape room theme that is about saving the holidays rather than saving summer. It includes the same great puzzles and uses all of the same skills (teamwork! communication!) but just has a slightly different storyline. You can play either of the themes at any time during the year.
