Our virtual escape room team building game is specifically designed to require coworkers to brainstorm, make decisions, take risks, and balance different viewpoints. Escapely was born from a passion for puzzles and games. This excitement especially shines through in our extremely popular virtual escape rooms. Our founder, Rachel, is an escape room fanatic and has played hundreds of physical escape rooms. She created her first two virtual escape rooms in early 2020 to address the low morale so many people were experiencing because of the global pandemic. After many rounds of testing, those escape rooms were refined into the virtual escape room team building events Escapely offers today.
When we create a virtual escape room, it starts much the same way that we approach our custom games. We first think about the tone of the game and the experience we want participants to have. We design all puzzles with teamwork in mind and test them thoroughly to make sure they are interactive, exciting, and challenging without being impossible.
Because our format is so interactive and because our staff is so friendly and accommodating, we were inundated with requests to create other online escape rooms and other types of events! Instead, the event budget can be put toward things that enhance team building – like staff and moderators to keep everyone engaged. There are many virtual team building games out there, but a remote escape room is the best bang for your buck because it combines the cost savings of a virtual event with the connectedness and camaraderie typically associated with an in-person team building event.
At Escapely, the price of a virtual escape room is dependent on the group size, the date and time selected, and the number of emcees and moderators that will be provided. The group size is the most important factor in the overall cost because virtual escape rooms for large groups simply take more staff to run seamlessly! However, we can always adjust the moderator ratio to bring down per-person costs and accommodate a variety of budgets. We also offer self-moderated events with a virtual hint assistant that are the most cost-effective offering. To get a quote for your team building game, it is best to fill out our quick quote form. Our games are priced in tiers rather than an exact per-person but in general the range is around $50 per person for our premium fully-staffed events with one moderator per small team, and around $25 per person for very large groups or our self-guided virtual escape rooms.
