WHODUNNIT: A Murder Mystery

A mysterious murder. Six suspects. A string of clues. Investigate the evidence and solve puzzles to eliminate suspects, motives, and crime locations. In this interactive murder mystery escape room, you will work with your team to decipher clues, crack codes, and figure out whether each suspect has a reliable alibi. It is an escape-room-style game with a murder mystery theme – the best of both worlds!

Teams work together to solve the crime and at the end, we announce the winning team. Do you have what it takes to put the pieces together and crack the case?

We recommend a computer or tablet because of the larger screen size. However, when a cell phone is the only option, the game can be played on a phone as well!

Not much! Just yourself, your brain, and a device that is connected to the internet. You might find it useful to have a cell phone handy as we do allow use of the internet during our games. If your event is over Teams, Google Meet, or Webex, we also recommend scratch paper.

  • Please be sure to close all other video applications (Teams, Webex, etc) before joining the Zoom link.
  • For the best experience, join from the Zoom app rather than the web version. Participants who join from the web version can still play, but may not be able to annotate on the screen – which makes the game more fun!
  • If you have the desktop app downloaded, it will open automatically when you click the link. If you are new to Zoom, you will be prompted to download the app when you click the link to join. To prepare in advance, download the desktop app here.
  • While in the waiting room, you will be prompted to test your audio. If anything is not working, first try exiting and restarting the app.
  • Our technical team will monitor the waiting room for the duration of the event. If you are late or any issues arise, we are there to help!
  • Please be sure to close all other video applications (Zoom, etc) before joining the provided link.
  • For Teams and Google Meet events, please have some scratch paper handy.
