    So much fun!

My husband and I did the Atlanta Escape the City game. We explored Little Five Points which is a cool part of town. We had a lot of fun figuring out the clues. It took us a little while to get started but we got the hang of it and then had a great time looking for the real world clues. Each puzzle was different and creative. The app was very helpful when we got stuck. We will definitely try another city when we get the opportunity. This would be great for the family, a date night, or a group of friends. It took us a little over four hours, but that included a stop for lunch and a short break to grab a drink.

A great way to explore Little Five Points

I had such a fun time with this game! This is a linear puzzle exploration experience where you will open the box at the designated starting point and then follow the adventure from there as solving one puzzle will lead you to the next location as you zig zag across Little Five Points.

I loved how the puzzles were integrated into the surroundings of the neighborhood and at times even require you to enter into a store. There were many moments of joy when the “ah-ha!” moment came to me with each puzzle and found myself saying out loud, to myself, “oooh that’s so clever!” Puzzle difficulty varied from easy to medium, and any experienced escape roomer will have a good time, but it was also approachable for newcomers as well.

I completed this experience as a solo player and found it took me around 3 hours, but I was also prone to slow down and enjoy the scenery and at one point stopped to grab a snack. I imagine it would move faster and be a lot of fun with a larger group, but I think it was a great solo adventure.

What I appreciated most, beyond the puzzling, was that it forced me to slow down and really admire everything that Little Five Points has to offer. The neighborhood is filled with art and little details that are easy to miss if you’re just there to visit one particular store or restaurant.

Atlanta escape room FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes, but it is not generally recommended unless you are a serious escape room enthusiast. It would be like playing an escape room that has the same storyline and similar puzzles, but with different clues available. Because the clues are integrated within Little Five Points, the clues are different than all other Whodunnit games. But the puzzles will feel familiar.
Little Five Points is the perfect place for an outdoor escape room because the funky aesthetic lends itself perfectly to real world clues. The vibe is Bohemian, hippie, and eclectic. It's very walkable, which makes it a great location for an outdoor adventure, and there are a few great bars in the area for those who wish to stay after for a few drinks. The Little Five Points area is small, so the entire escape room takes place with less than a mile of walking.
It's both! In a traditional escape room you must solve puzzles that lead from one to the next to escape the room (or a series of rooms). In Escape the City you must solve puzzles that lead from one to the next, with clues in the real world. It's one of the best things to do in Atlanta!
You can park anywhere in the area. Little Five Points is a small enough neighborhood and you will criss-cross the area a few times over the course of the escape room. If you prefer public transportation, Little Five Points is less than a mile from the Inman Park/Reynoldstown MARTA station.
There is one business you will need to enter, and they are a partner of the game (they offer a discount to Escapely players). You will not need to interact with staff - just enter to find a clue. Everything else is outdoors.
It's a self-guided adventure around Little Five Points for couples, families, individuals, friend groups, and anyone else looking for a fun thing to do in Little Five Points and a great way to explore the neighborhood.
