You get to search for clues hidden in the real world and then use them to solve escape room puzzles. When you solve for a code, the app will tell you where to go look for your next clue! Instead of trying to escape the room, this Escapely adventure takes you around London to track down ghosts and reunite two star-crossed lovers!

This real world escape room is the most unique escape room in London. It takes you on a clue-solving adventure to find clues, solve puzzles, and follow an immersive storyline. If you want to keep the experience a surprise, don't read this next bit - it contains some spoilers about where you'll go on our West End escape room adventure and what you'll see along the way.

Escapely's West End escape room begins at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church in Trafalgar Square. This historic site has had a church on it since medieval times. You might also get lucky enough to catch a lunchtime or evening concert which happens frequently! You'll also get to visit the Theatre Royal Haymarket, which is the third-oldest London playhouse still in use today. It was also the birthplace of the now commonplace matinee performance!

The next part of our London outdoor escape room will take you to Leicester Square, the heard of the West End's theatre and entertainment district. The beautiful park in the middle of the square is where you'll search for your next clues. Finally, you'll visit the Agatha Christie memorial near Covent Garden. The sculpture was placed here to honor her contributions to theater (her play, The Mousetrap, is the world's longest-running play!). If you have time, stay for a show after your West End escape room. If not, there are numerous restaurants and bars in the area to celebrate your escape!

Yes, but it is not generally recommended unless you are a serious escape room enthusiast. It would be like playing an escape room that has the same storyline and similar puzzles, but with different clues available. Because the clues are integrated throughout London's West End, the clues themselves are different from all other Relic games. But the puzzles will feel very familiar.

The West End is one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in London. In addition to being the home of the famous theatre district, it is full of tourist attractions, shops, and nightlife. For accessibility of clues during the escape room, we steer clear of crowded tourist sites like Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. But the West End has so much to offer it was hard to narrow down clue sites. Like most of London, it's walkable and easily accessible. There are also world-class restaurants and plenty of nightlife to round out the escape room experience!

London is extremely accessible using public transportation. We recommend taking the tube to the West End. Everything is in walking distance from there!
