This real world escape room is the most unique escape room in Tampa. It takes you on a clue-solving adventure to find clues, solve puzzles, and follow an immersive storyline. If you want to keep the experience a surprise, don't read this next bit - it contains some spoilers about where you'll go on our Tampa escape room adventure and what you'll see along the way. In Escapely's Tampa escape room, you are a top secret spy tasked with exposing a ring of double agents threatening to take down the agency. We suggest starting at Grassroots Kava House to solve the first puzzle, but you can choose any spot in Ybor. Your first clue will be at Columbia Restaurant. You won't need to go inside to solve the puzzle, but if you have time, we recommend stopping in to see why this restaurant has century-long career of serving Spanish-Cuban cuisine. The restaurant can seat over 1700 customers! Then, head to Centennial Park, which celebrates the founding of Ybor City. Finally, you will visit the Centro Ybor Mall, which offers some dining options if you're still hungry and shops to wrap up the adventure. Ybor is known as the cigar capital of the world. We steered the game route around the cigar shops to make the escape room family-friendly, but if that's your thing, there are plenty of shops in the area you can seek out. Find one where you can watch a cigar get hand-rolled from scratch - it feels a little like you're in Havana! If you plan your Tampa escape room for evening time, Ybor offer plenty of nightlife from nightclubs to live music to jazz clubs.

A group of three of us (all avid escape room enthusiasts) played the experience and had an absolute blast! It was a great way to bond with friends and to explore more of our downtown area than we had seen before! Everything made logical sense and the story line was really cool and engaging!

Great old city to explore! We got rained out for a bit, but still a great time. Plenty of great restaurants to drop into to escape the rain, or to celebrate solving a puzzle. The sidewalks aren’t super accessible, so be aware if that’s a concern for you. Otherwise it’s a great set of puzzles and a very fun way to spend a few hours!
