Open your clue box anywhere near 15th St and Curtis St in Denver's Upper Downtown.
Begin solving using anything you see in the box. Scan the QR code to input your solution and find out where to go.
Search for real-world clues hidden around Upper Downtown Denver and use them to solve puzzles. When you input the correct code, the app will tell you where to go and what to do!

Great product!

This was a fun experience! We did it as a family with a 11 and 12 year old, and as veterans of a handful of escape rooms, it was a nice difficulty level for a family. We did split it into 2 mornings due to our children’s attention spans. It’s even fun as Denver natives to find and explore areas we may not as much as we should. Would definitely recommend and look into when visiting other cities.

Lots of fun with the Escape Denver game!

We had a great time with the Escape Denver game! There were many clever and fun clues and a couple tough ones that we had to use a hint (or two) for. But we finished and had a lot of fun. Had a nice walk around the area. The amount of walking was just right.

A fun way to be a tourist in our own city.

My friends and I had a blast playing this game around Denver! It was great to see new parts of the city and engage with public art that we might have just walked by int the past. We enjoyed the ability to go at our own pace, stopping for food or coffee breaks along the way. So fun!

I personally loved it. Tho some of the clues were kind of hard and required some hints.

You get to search for clues hidden in the real world and then use them to solve escape room puzzles. When you solve for a code, the app will tell you where to go look for your next clue! Instead of trying to escape the room, this Escapely adventure takes you around Upper Downtown to track down clues and expose double agents!

This real world escape room is the most unique escape room in Upper Downtown Denver. It takes you on a clue-solving adventure to find clues, solve puzzles, and follow an immersive storyline. If you want to keep the experience a surprise, don't read this next bit - it contains some spoilers about where you'll go on our Denver escape room adventure and what you'll see along the way.

In Escapely's Denver escape room, you are a top secret spy tasked with exposing a ring of double agents threatening to take down the agency. We suggest starting near Vibe Coffee and Wine, but you can start and park anywhere in the Upper Downtown area. You'll walk by the Upper Downtown Lightrail Station, the Denver Convention Center, the Old City Hall Bell, and the Denver Performing Arts Complex, one of the largest performing arts complexes in the country.

As you continue the game, you will find clues at the Kettle Arcade and one of the campuses of the University of Colorado Denver. We suggest a few places to stop to eat and drink around downtown Denver, like the German restaurant Rhein Haus, which has an outdoor beer garden if the weather is nice! If you prefer a different spot, you can choose any other location in the Upper Downtown area.

Yes, but it is not generally recommended unless you are a serious escape room enthusiast. It would be like playing an escape room that has the same storyline and similar puzzles, but with different clues available. Because the clues are integrated within downtown Denver, the clues are different than all other spyhunter games. But the puzzles will feel familiar.

Upper Downtown is a vibrant and thriving area of Denver with museums, hotels, and the large Denver Performing Arts Complex, with venues for theater, dance, and music. There are many clues integrated throughout the neighborhood perfect for escape room puzzles! The 16th Street Mall is one of the most walkable areas in Denver, perfect for an outdoor escape room. If you're with kids, after the game you can check out the Denver Firefighters Museum, housed in a historic fire station.

It's both! In a traditional escape room you must solve puzzles that lead from one to the next to escape the room (or a series of rooms). In Escape the City you must solve puzzles that lead from one to the next, with clues in the real world. It's one of the best things to do in downtown Denver!

There are parking garages in the area - we recommend starting near 16th St and California. The 16th St/California light rail station is very close to the start of the game if public transportation is convenient for you!
