The best Philadelphia escape room experience
About the escape room game
This escape room adventure around Logan Square takes the best parts of an escape room and the best parts of a scavenger hunt and merges them into the most fun thing to do in Philadelphia. You get to search for clues hidden in the real world and then use them to solve escape room puzzles. When you solve for a code, the app will tell you where to go look for your next clue! Instead of trying to escape the room, this Escapely adventure takes you around Philly to track down clues and expose double agents!
This real world escape room is the most unique escape room in Philadelphia. It takes you on a clue-solving adventure to find clues, solve puzzles, and follow an immersive storyline. If you want to keep the experience a surprise, don't read this next bit - it contains some spoilers about where you'll go on our Philly escape room adventure and what you'll see along the way. In Escapely's Philadelphia escape room, you are a top secret spy tasked with exposing a ring of double agents threatening to take down the agency. We suggest starting at Swann Memorial Fountain in Logan Circle to solve the first puzzle. You will then head to the Parkway Central Library to find your first clue. It's the largest of the public libraries in Philadelphia so pop in to check out a book if you have time! After spending some time in Logan Square itself, you will also get to check out Cret Park, a small triangular park with seating and interesting sculptures. Your next clue is at Lenfest Plaza at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. It sits between the Frank Furness building and the Hamilton Building as a beautiful outdoor art space. Eventually, you'll make it to Sister Cities Park, a beautiful Philly park with a boat pond, a fountain, and panoramic views of Philadelphia. You can finish the escape room there, or head to Federal Donuts if you have worked up an appetite. If you're in the mood for a picture, head to the LOVE sculpture, which is in the area and is one of Philly's most Instagrammable sculptures. For something a little more high brow, the Barnes Foundation houses one of the world's great art collections.

Awesome gift for someone who has everything!
Got this as a Christmas gift for my husband and finally got to enjoy some great weather today! We had a blast walking around, the clues were great, felt like National Treasure. Hope they make more for our city, we’d definitely do more!

Fun unique activity!
My husband & I had a lot of fun with the Philadelphia escapely spy game! The difficulty level was perfect for us – the puzzles were challenging enough that it felt like an accomplishment to get through, while not being too hard to get through in a reasonable amount of time. We also had a great experience with the customer service – we were missing one of the QR codes needed because we didn’t bring the box with us on the activity, and were able to call in and promptly get the information needed so that it did not impact our ability to solve the puzzle.

Great
First half was incredible, the ending was too far of a jump. A lot of walking around a concentrated part of the city to many of the parks. A cool way to integrate real world info with items from the puzzle box.

Better than just bar hopping!
This was so much fun! We booked this event for my friend’s birthday and we had such a good time. Usually, you think of getting together with your friends and it’s just going out to eat or getting a few drinks. But solving these puzzles while basically bar hopping completely elevated the experience. This was a really great way to spend time together and it led us to places we wouldn’t normally have checked out. We also loved that it’s all self paced so we could take our time and stop for drinks along the way.

Good fun. A little pricey
My husband and I did this together on a lovely spring afternoon on a Sunday. The clues were tough but fun. Admittedly we had to use some hints a couple times but between the two of us we got it. We took our time and also enjoyed the city. My only complaint is that it’s a little pricey. Also, I wish it came with a little notepad or a recommendation to bring one. I would have loved to let my son use it as well but it’s really a one time use activity. For the price, I really wish you could do it at least twice. I can see how it is easily a 1-player game but definitely more fun with at least 2 people. Anything more than 3 might be too much IMO. I am considering getting another for DC for my son and his friends for spring break.
