Open your clue box anywhere near the JPMorgan Chase Tower to start your adventure.

Such a fun day

Escapely has created interesting puzzles which are just hard enough to be fun. My grown daughter and I had a wonderful time walking around downtown Houston solving puzzles. We didn’t need any hints except for one puzzle but it was nice that there are hints to guide you to the solution and even the solution and explanation if you need it. When we were tired we could stop for a drink without any penalty.
From the minute we opened the box, we could tell that lots of thought and work went into making a fun game. The game leads you to different locations where there are pieces of the puzzle. You can’t solve the puzzles without being there. The locations are close together so there is walking but not too much.
I have been to a lot of escape rooms and many times there are problems with things not working properly. This game had no issues like that. I highly recommend Escapely.

Fun way to explore your city

The puzzles were great and we enjoyed how they incorporated clues from real world, such as local businesses. We even got to see parts of Downtown Houston that we didn’t know, and we got to learn some history too. The videos made it fun too.
One of the establishments that we had to stop by to get a clue was in an area that didn’t feel totally safe, so be aware of your surroundings and do this activity during the day if at all possible.
I played with my husband and young adult children, and we think the difficulty of the game is about 6 out of 10.

GREAT GAME!!!

This is one of THE BEST games me and my boyfriend have ever done!! We absolutely love seeing new things and doing escape rooms and this ties all that into one!! We did the Houston box and there was plenty of things to see and do! In addition to the things to see and do that the game brought us to, the puzzles we came across themselves were just the right amount of challenging, not too easy, but not too difficult either. We were able to complete the game without any hints 🙂
If you are looking for a fun way to explore a city, THIS is the way to do it!!!! 10 out of 10 recommend 🙂

So much fun!!

It was sooo much fun!! There was a clue where we were a little stumped but the hints were great!! We played the game with our 3 daughters ages 12-15 and had such a fun time!! I’ve already had two of my friends purchase it to play it as well with their kids. This also would have been a great time with some friends. I also love the fact one of the clues was in a restaurant, we were able to take a little break and had lunch there. What a great game and idea!! Thank you again for the fun adventure and great memories!!

Escapely's Houston escape room begins with an appeal from the Mayor to help track down notorious outlaw Magnolia Mae, who has been terrorizing the townsfolk. As the new Sheriff in town, you'll need to work quickly to take down the outlaw and restore order. Your adventure starts at The Understory, an underground food hall with big open stairs where you can sit to solve puzzles. Your next clue is the Miro sculpture "Personage and Birds" in Houston's JPMorgan Chase Tower plaza. You will also get to stop by Moonshiners, a rustic bar and restaurant that serves Southern fare. Many players stop here for a bite to eat before continuing!

Next you head to Main Street to look for a clue outside of a building. Main Street is worth checking out anyway, with many shops, bars, and restaurants. It's the epicenter of Downtown Houston. Our Houston escape room ends at the historic Market Square Park, the site of the original City Hall - fitting for this escape room's theme. If you're with kids, there are other Downtown Houston attractions worth checking out afterward, such as the Aquarium. Discovery Green is also nearby with 12 acres of park space, green areas, and even a skating rink.

However, Downtown Houston is completely walkable, making it the perfect place for an outdoor escape room adventure. There is plenty of parking available in Downtown Houston. If you want to park near the first clue, we suggest finding a lot close to the JPMorgan Chase Tower. Otherwise, any spot in Downtown Houston will work. The METRORail also runs right down Main Street.

One clue is located indoors (but not inside a specific business), and another clue is within a business. You will not need to make a purchase (though we do recommend trying the food!). Just step inside to find the clue. All other clues are outdoors and accessible to the public!
