Open your clue box anywhere near the Geographical Center of Phoenix to start your adventure.

Positive Play Experience

Such a great afternoon solving puzzles, deciphering codes, navigating maps, and seeing pieces of the city I haven’t paid attention to in the past! Three friends and I completed Escape the City in the afternoon and then enjoyed dinner downtown! Best to wear comfortable shoes as you will do a bit of walking, but I think my brain was more worn out than my legs! Honestly, this is probably best for locals or if you’re visiting for a significant span of time since you aren’t actually spending a lot of time exploring the iconic parts of downtown, but more so navigating the intricate puzzles the game creates from permanent fixtures and lesser visited sites. Although, I did learn a thing or two about the city. Would recommend!

In Escapely's Phoenix escape room, you are a top secret spy tasked with exposing a ring of double agents threatening to take down the agency. We suggest starting near the Geographical Center of Phoenix so that you will be close to your first clue stop. As you crack codes and advance throughout the escape game, you'll find clues at the Charles Korrick Fountain, Phoenix's old city hall, and the historic Hotel San Carlos. You will also visit the Phoenix Convention Center.

In the same area, you'll find the Arizona Science Center, the Phoenix Symphony Hall, and several ASU campuses in downtown Phoenix. As you play, we recommend a few places to stop to eat and drink, such as a coffee shop to start the game and Ingo's Tasty Food if you'd like a place to eat afterward.

It would be like playing an escape room that has the same storyline and similar puzzles, but with different clues available. Because the clues are integrated within downtown Phoenix, the clues are different than all other spyhunter games. But the puzzles will feel familiar.

Downtown Phoenix is a vibrant business and entertainment area with both modern and historical buildings. The Arizona Science Center is an incredible place to take a family and Arizona Center has a beautiful landscaped park where you can enjoy an outdoor meal or snack. Heritage Square is the site of original Phoenix where you can find historical architecture and many interesting dining options. There is also an event called First Friday that gathers Phoenix's up and coming artists for a festival on the first Friday of each month. If you want to avoid crowds, we recommend playing our Phoenix escape room on a different day.
