Open your clue box anywhere near Amici Park in San Diego's Little Italy.
Begin solving using anything you see in the box. Scan the QR code to input your solution and find out where to go.
Search for real-world clues hidden around Little Italy and use them to solve puzzles. When you input the correct code, the app will tell you where to go and what to do!
If you get stuck, the no-download app has as many hints as you need. It also has storyline, videos, and more.

Fun and challenging

My husband and I had a blast! It was a great date and we enjoyed working together to solve the puzzles.

It was pretty challenging, especially logging in since we didn’t have any idea on what kind of formula would be used to solve the puzzles. There were a few challenges we didn’t use any hints for and we loved those! There were a couple we never would have solved without certain clues.

My favorite part of the game was a part that reminded me of National Treasure. My husband enjoyed the final puzzle to successfully complete the mission. Such a great date day, definitely recommend if you enjoy escape rooms and puzzles.

A must have for gaming enthusiasts!

We had a blast serving justice to the ringleader 🙂 We felt even more like real life agents since we had to brave the unusual rain and cold in San Diego the day we did this.

I really appreciated the high production quality of the whole package. The clues were well thought of, and the use of real life elements was brilliant! The level of the clues was honestly perfect. We ended up using a couple of hints, mostly due to not wanting to spend too much time getting drenched haha. In particular, the level was not as easy as many escape games are, which is great! My favorite part of the game had to be the use of the dining table art installations as clues! We got hungry and took a break from the game (and the rain) to grab some food after that

the best Christmas gift EVER

SOOO much fun !! The puzzles are really intricate and do an incredible job of relying on the environment, me and my man had an amazing time rediscovering our neighborhood through new eyes! it gets harder as you go but there’s lots of help in the app if you get stuck! 10/10, we can’t wait to bring another edition next time we go traveling 🤍

Birthday adventure

We love escape rooms and decided this was the perfect gift for my sister’s birthday- We were not disappointed!

The hardest clue for us to solve was the password 😅 but with a lot of laughter, we were able to figure it out. We also found the hints to be very helpful, but not too telling.

I really appreciated the opportunity to discover this area of San Diego in this way and we got to see a gorgeous sunset in the process.
The difficulty was the perfect level, enjoyably challenging but not frustrating.

I was searching for activity gifts and first found a picnic scavenger hunt through San Diego- then google suggested escapely as a similar option and your website let me know it was the absolute correct move.

Our favorite part was the clue to discover the librarian- especially standing eye to eye with the statue.

Thanks for an amazing experience and we hope to complete more in other cities we may travel to visit.

You get to search for clues hidden in the real world and then use them to solve escape room puzzles. When you solve for a code, the app will tell you where to go look for your next clue! Instead of trying to escape the room, this Escapely adventure takes you around the pedestrian-friendly Little Italy area to track down clues and expose double agents!

This real world escape room is the most unique escape room in San Diego. It takes you on a clue-solving adventure to find clues, solve puzzles, and follow an immersive storyline. If you want to keep the experience a surprise, don't read this next bit - it contains some spoilers about where you'll go on our San Diego escape room adventure and what you'll see along the way.

In Escapely's San Diego escape room, you are a top secret spy tasked with exposing a ring of double agents threatening to take down the agency. We suggest starting near Amici Park so that you'll be close to your first clue stop. Clues are integrated with your surroundings, so in keeping with the Little Italy theme, some of your first clues are Italian recipes that you must find! As you crack codes and advance throughout the escape game, you'll also find clues at Piazza Basilone, a memorial to soldiers who died during the Korean War, and Piazza Giannini, honoring the founder of Bank of Italy which later became Bank of America.

In the same area, you'll find the Little Italy street sign, which is a vibrant homage to this trendy (and delicious) San Diego neighborhood. You can also make your way to Waterfront Park to see the fountains and the beautiful water views. We suggest ending the game at the Little Italy Food Hall to enjoy some food and drink after the escape room, or while you finish the final puzzle. Or, choose another location in Little Italy.
