  • Begin solving using anything you see in the box. Scan the QR code to input your solution and find out where to go.
  • Search for real-world clues hidden around Tampa and use them to solve puzzles. When you input the correct code, the app will tell you where to go and what to do!
  • If you get stuck, the no-download app has as many hints as you need. It also has storyline, videos, and more.

    Our HOmetown, RE-Solved: Seeing Tampa in a Whole New Way with Escapely

    We had an amazing experience with Escapely in Tampa, and what made it even better is that this is our hometown—yet we saw it in an entirely new way. The game made us slow down and notice details, buildings, and little pieces of the city that we’ve walked past countless times without ever really seeing before.
    One of the biggest wins is that there’s no time limit. That freedom completely changes the experience. We were able to stop for great food along the way, enjoy the neighborhood, and soak everything in without feeling rushed or stressed like you often do in a traditional escape room.
    The puzzles are incredibly well balanced. They’re not so easy that you breeze through without thinking, but also not so hard that you feel stuck or frustrated. At one point, we were sure we were on the right track—but something felt off (turns out, we were wrong). We contacted Escapely by texting the contact number and they responded immediately, gently guiding us back on track without giving away the answers, which we really appreciated.
    We also loved how the hint system works. Several hints are built right into the web experience, but they’re totally optional—you only see them if you choose to click “hint.” And even then, there’s additional guidance available if you’re still stuck, which makes it approachable for all experience levels.
    If you enjoy escape rooms, you’ll absolutely LOVE Escapely. It’s immersive, flexible, smartly designed, and a fantastic way to explore Tampa—whether you’re visiting or, like us, rediscovering your own city.

    Fun times. Great business to visit in between.

    Good times. Gave something to do. Took about 2 hours but we were in no hurry. Total walking about 1 mile. Not as easy as you think. We used hints frequently, kinda have to get into the mind set of the clues it was easier to get answer.

    My sister got the Escapely Adventure for me and my fiancé for Christmas and it was such a great gift. My fiancé and I loved it! We had so much fun and would strongly recommend it for someone else.

    Great Family activity!

    We had a great time doing this, we found the difficulty level good for our particular group, although we overthought the final part a bit, lol. It was great to find something that both my (young adult) children, who are vastly different, had fun doing and were able to both contribute in different ways that showed both their strengths. It was a great family activity that I would do again in a heartbeat. Hoping new options will come out in the future for our area!

This escape room adventure around Ybor City takes the best parts of an escape room and the best parts of a scavenger hunt and merges them into the most fun thing to do in Tampa. You get to search for clues hidden in the real world and then use them to solve escape room puzzles. When you solve for a code, the app will tell you where to go look for your next clue! Instead of trying to escape the room, this Escapely adventure takes you around Tampa to track down clues and expose double agents!

This real world escape room is the most unique escape room in Tampa. It takes you on a clue-solving adventure to find clues, solve puzzles, and follow an immersive storyline. If you want to keep the experience a surprise, don't read this next bit - it contains some spoilers about where you'll go on our Tampa escape room adventure and what you'll see along the way.

In Escapely's Tampa escape room, you are a top secret spy tasked with exposing a ring of double agents threatening to take down the agency. We suggest starting at Grassroots Kava House to solve the first puzzle, but you can choose any spot in Ybor. Your first clue will be at Columbia Restaurant. You won't need to go inside to solve the puzzle, but if you have time, we recommend stopping in to see why this restaurant has century-long career of serving Spanish-Cuban cuisine. The restaurant can seat over 1700 customers! Then, head to Centennial Park, which celebrates the founding of Ybor City.

Finally, you will visit the Centro Ybor Mall, which offers some dining options if you're still hungry and shops to wrap up the adventure. Ybor is known as the cigar capital of the world. We steered the game route around the cigar shops to make the escape room family-friendly, but if that's your thing, there are plenty of shops in the area you can seek out. Find one where you can watch a cigar get hand-rolled from scratch - it feels a little like you're in Havana! If you plan your Tampa escape room for evening time, Ybor offer plenty of nightlife from nightclubs to live music to jazz clubs.

Yes, but it is not generally recommended unless you are a serious escape room enthusiast. It would be like playing an escape room that has the same storyline and similar puzzles, but with different clues available. Because the clues are integrated within Ybor City, the clues are different from all other Spyhunter games. But the puzzles will feel familiar.
Ybor City is a lively Cuban neighborhood in Tampa with Latin American, Italian, and Spanish influence. The area is rich with culture and history and has everything from live music to delicious Cuban food to museums. It's known for brick buildings, wrought-iron railings and, of course, cigars. But don't worry - this family-friendly escape room route avoids cigar shops. And you won't make it many blocks through Ybor without encountering the live chickens and roosters that seem to run the place. In fact, there's a city ordinance protecting them!

There is street parking through Ybor and even a few lots that are free for the first two hours. Ybor is not a large neighborhood, so you can park anywhere, but we suggest starting at Grassroots Kava House, so parking nearby would be ideal.
