The best Dallas escape room experience
About the escape room game
This escape room adventure around Deep Ellum takes the best parts of an escape room and the best parts of a scavenger hunt and merges them into the most fun thing to do in Dallas. You get to search for clues hidden in the real world and then use them to solve escape room puzzles. When you solve for a code, the app will tell you where to go look for your next clue! Instead of trying to escape the room, this Escapely adventure takes you around Dallas's Deep Ellum neighborhood to track down clues and crack the case!
This real world escape room is the most unique escape room in Dallas. It takes you on a clue-solving adventure to find clues, solve puzzles, and follow an immersive storyline. If you want to keep the experience a surprise, don't read this next bit - it contains some spoilers about where you'll go on Escapely's Dallas escape room adventure and what you'll see along the way. In Escapely's Dallas escape room, you're a detective tasked with solving a mysterious murder. You must find clues and track suspects around Deep Ellum. (The clues are in the real world, but the suspects are on our app.) You start off in search of your first clue at Serious Pizza, a serve-at-the-counter pizza spot where we highly recommend grabbing a slice. Next, head to the Deep Ellum branch of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams where Escapely players get 20% off by showing the code on the app. On the way to your next clue, the game will walk your through colorful Blues Alley on Clover Street. It's an immersive mural experience that highlights the history and influence of Deep Ellum’s musicians through the lens of today’s talented local artists. It's a great spot for photo ops while you're playing the escape room. Then, on to Whiskey Hatchet, a place that lets you throw axes at a target for entertainment. You won't need to go inside to find the clue, but they also give Escapely players a nice discount! The next part of the adventure takes you to Main Street where you can get a feel for the Deep Ellum flavor, if you haven't already. Finally, you end at Emporium Pies. It's so good there is sometimes a line out the door, but you won't need to wait in line to finish your escape room...though you might want to!

FANTASTIC!! Loved EVERYTHING about it!
It was PERFECT!!!! We ALL had so much fun and definately got invested in the process! I have done a few different types of things where there was a challenge to be completed or a mystery to be solved over the years. My experience has been 50/ 50. They were either cheesy and overly simple. No challenge at all. Or, there was literally NO POSSIBLE WAY to get to the answer with the information given. Some others I have done were like a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater, which was pretty much a Stage Play where at intermission everyone in the audience submitted their answer to who they believed the killer to be but that was the full extent of our participation.
This product was a PERFECT blend of solving puzzles AND participating in an additional scavenger hunt ending in a logic problem to solve the MURDER MYSTERY!
The difficulty level was also PERFECT! And the hints didnt give away the answers if you had to use them! If you talked it out loud with your teammates you would eventually come to find the answer.
The only thing that I dislike about the game is that ONCE YOU’VE PLAYED IT IN YOUR CITY – ITS OVER! But I can see myself planning a fun little girls weekend / road trip if there is a game in a city close enough. And if I find myself traveling to another city in my regular day to day life I can see myself doing a quick check to see if there is a game available there to play while I am there.
This providing a product that provides a couple of hours of escapism but more importantly gets us engaging in real life social interactions again!

Happy campers!
Our agency chose to do an outdoor scavenger hunt as our quarterly event with the whole organization. It was the perfect level of difficulty and fun combined!! The whole group really enjoyed it. Highly recommend to do it in the cooler months versus in the summer.

Fun, but some puzzles were DiFFiCuLt!
Did activity on Saturday afternoon w/4 adults & 1 teenager. All enjoyed it. Took over 4 hours to complete. Learned a lot!

Really well done game!
The game is really well done. One clue was more difficult than the rest but with the help of the clues, we finally figured it out. The clues use different types of logic, which is nice when working with others so everyone can contribute.

Fun times with friends and family!
This is a fun game we played with our teen and young adult kids. We did the Dallas Deep Ellum version. The puzzles were fun, took us to local establishments, and made us work together to solve the puzzles. It wasn’t terribly easy or terribly hard. The real world clue funding was extra fun. Deep Ellum is kind of sketchy, though, and being absorbed in the game this game makes you stand out as a tourist. Be aware of your surroundings, and have fun!
