Fun for both beginners and long time puzzle enthusiasts!

I did this with a group of 4 friends and it took us just under 1.5 hours. We have a lot of escape room and puzzle game experience so we found it to be pretty easy, but in a satisfying way, with fun puzzles that incorporated local art in creative ways. It would be fun to see more versions for different neighborhoods and with varying difficulty!

Fun way to explore and puzzle

Two of us did the Seattle box and had fun finding spots we hadn’t ever explored despite being locals. The way the puzzles use public art and spaces as clues is clever. If you’ve done other puzzle boxes or escape rooms, the puzzles won’t be too challenging and if not, there’s a good hint system. It would be a fun way to discover a neighborhood in a new city.

    Highly Recommend Fun

We had such a good time! We played with our 10-year-old. The difficulty was good and once we got the hang of it we had a blast. Thank you so much for the fun family day!

    So fun

Oh my goodness, we loved this! We don’t live in Seattle, but I thought it would be fun to get it and bring with us on our trip. I was worried we would need to know more about where we were, but that wasn’t an issue at all! We loved walking around the area and discovering things we would’ve just walked past, the clues were challenging and fun, and we saved them to bring home to show our friends and family! We hope to do one of them again one day! Being in southeastern Idaho, we really hope for ones for Boise and Salt Lake City!!

So well done - will do more cities!

We had a blast doing the Seattle box edition. Amazing production values and the right balance of challenges and good hints that help if you need it.

The best Seattle escape room experience

About the escape room game

This escape room adventure around Seattle Center takes the best parts of an escape room and the best parts of a scavenger hunt and merges them into the most fun thing to do in Seattle. You get to search for clues hidden in the real world and then use them to solve escape room puzzles. When you solve for a code, the app will tell you where to go look for your next clue! Instead of trying to escape the room, an Escapely adventure takes you to find clues around Seattle.

This real world escape room is the most unique escape room in Seattle. It takes you on a clue-solving adventure around Seattle Center to find clues, solve puzzles, and follow an immersive storyline. If you want to keep the experience a surprise, don't read this next bit - it contains some spoilers about where you'll go on our Seattle escape room adventure and what you'll see along the way.

In Escapely's Seattle escape room, you are the potionmaster for a day at Florian's Elixir Emporium. After a spell gone wrong, you must create potions, handle customers, and find the right ingredients to fix the mess you caused! Your first clue is at Rabbit Rabbit Tea, a boba tea shop that even includes a discount for Escapely players! Then you will get to visit Climate Pledge Arena, developed for the 1962 World's Fair. While there, take a closer look at the sculpture La Diab Pish, which depicts the Pacific Giant Octopus. You will also visit an art installation featuring the Lushootseed language spoken by the Duwamish tribe. The Duwamish are the original inhabitants of the Seattle area, and they are still a thriving and active part of Seattle culture to this day.

Your next clues will take you to the park near the Armory building and to the Fisher Pavilion. The Fisher Pavilion is beautiful and often used for wedding receptions and other fancy affairs. It's a beautiful place to spend some time, especially when searching for escape room clues. The final stop on this adventure is the Neototems Children's Garden. Seattle Center is an incredible place to explore. If you have time, we highly suggest stopping in to see the Chihuly Garden and Glass to see the beautiful glass art. And if you have never been, a trip up the Space Needle (right in the vicinity of the game) is truly breathtaking.
