Open your clue box anywhere near Amici Park in San Diego's Little Italy.
Begin solving using anything you see in the box. Scan the QR code to input your solution and find out where to go.
Search for real-world clues hidden around Little Italy and use them to solve puzzles. When you input the correct code, the app will tell you where to go and what to do!
If you get stuck, the no-download app has as many hints as you need. It also has storyline, videos, and more.

Adventuresome day in Little Italy

Really enjoyed the game. Found everything and had fun doing so. My nephew LOVES a particular play and guessed a clue just by the reference. He was so jazzed. We loved learning some history!

Great Way to Spend time Outdoors with Friends!

This was a ton of fun. It’s not so much an escape room, but more of a puzzle you must solve while outdoors. For this puzzle, it’s Little Italy! We had a great time exploring the neighborhood, and using certain landmarks (manly I was unfamiliar with) to try and solve all the riddles. Our friends had a blast. Highly recommend!

Discovered the secret agents in Little Italy!

I had an amazing time with Escapely’s Little Italy adventure. I’ve done quite a few escape rooms before, but this was my first “escape the city” game.

The puzzles were tough but fair. The hint system kept things moving without spoiling the fun, and every solve felt earned.

What really stood out, though, was the real-world interaction. I was jotting notes at Mr. Moto Pizza when a stranger sat down and joined me on a puzzle. That kind of unexpected connection made the whole experience very memorable.

Parking in Little Italy can be a hassle on farmers’ market days. I recommend planning your parking in advance.

If you love puzzles, storytelling, or exploring neighborhoods in a new way, Escapely is worth it. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next.

Fun date night and unique gift

We were given this as a gift from my sister. It exceeded my expectations! We felt like the clues were satisfying to solve and a good skill level. The hints will slowly help you if you need it. We enjoyed turning it into a date night – we got dinner in little Italy while we did the first clue then had a drink later while we figured out another. We’re planning to buy different cities for friends as gifts

This escape room adventure around Little Italy takes the best parts of an escape room and the best parts of a scavenger hunt and merges them into the most fun thing to do in San Diego. You get to search for clues hidden in the real world and then use them to solve escape room puzzles. When you solve for a code, the app will tell you where to go look for your next clue! Instead of trying to escape the room, this Escapely adventure takes you around the pedestrian-friendly Little Italy area to track down clues and expose double agents!

This real world escape room is the most unique escape room in San Diego. It takes you on a clue-solving adventure to find clues, solve puzzles, and follow an immersive storyline. If you want to keep the experience a surprise, don't read this next bit - it contains some spoilers about where you'll go on our San Diego escape room adventure and what you'll see along the way.

In Escapely's San Diego escape room, you are a top secret spy tasked with exposing a ring of double agents threatening to take down the agency. We suggest starting near Amici Park so that you'll be close to your first clue stop. Clues are integrated with your surroundings, so in keeping with the Little Italy theme, some of your first clues are Italian recipes that you must find! As you crack codes and advance throughout the escape game, you'll also find clues at Piazza Basilone, a memorial to soldiers who died during the Korean War, and Piazza Giannini, honoring the founder of Bank of Italy which later became Bank of America.

In the same area, you'll find the Little Italy street sign, which is a vibrant homage to this trendy (and delicious) San Diego neighborhood. You can also make your way to Waterfront Park to see the fountains and the beautiful water views. We suggest ending the game at the Little Italy Food Hall to enjoy some food and drink after the escape room, or while you finish the final puzzle. Or, choose another location in Little Italy.

Because the clues are integrated within downtown San Diego, the clues are different than all other spyhunter games. But the puzzles will feel familiar.

The area is small and it's packed full of restaurants, bars, and cafes begging to be patronized. After finishing the escape room, we certainly recommend sticking around to try it out! You will also want to wander by Piazza della Famiglia, with a tile fountain in the middle, which will make you forget you are still in San Diego!
